Dear Mr and Mrs Haynes.
I (WRITE) to you about the letter you sent recently about the problems our dog is creating because he keeps (MANAGE) to get into your premises.
I am so sorry about this situation and I really hope that he (NOT / CAUSE) too much damage to your beautiful plants and lawn as I know you spend a great deal of time making your garden look so lovely.
We (DISCOVER) that he (ABLE) to get out because of a hole in the back of the fence. We (INTEND) to fix it this weekend when we are not working.
In the meantime, we (MAKE) sure he stays in the house or only goes into the garden while on a lead.
Can you please let me know if he has completely ruined any of your plants? If he has, we would be more than happy (BUY) some replacements from the garden centre.
Once again, I (APOLOGISE) for what has happened and will make sure it (NOT / OCCUR) again.
Best wishes
John Morris
